Each Holy Saturday, the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary welcome all to their Sorrowful Mother Vigil, which takes place from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows at their Novitiate House.

Holy Saturday is a day of expectant waiting. On the first Holy Saturday, Mary waited in faith for the victorious triumph of Her Son over death, so now we too wait with her on this Holy Saturday.

The vigil will include: 

• prayers and hymns to Our Lady of Sorrows
• times of silence for personal prayer
• meditative readings
• the recitation of the Rosary of the Seven Sorrows of Our Lady, which will be available with prayer cards for your use.
