Teaching in the Catholic high schools in our diocese is intense youth ministry! In addition, we seek opportunities to assist young people in their growth in holiness and to form young people into strong Catholic adults. The young are not only the future of the Church; they are already vital members of the Church with a great deal of influence.
Our Founder, Fr. Masmitja, founded our Community to educate and catechize the young who would in turn pass their faith on to others and thus rebuild the foundations of Christianity in a society suffering from its divorce from the Faith. An honest look at our world today will testify to the need for our charism among the young.
There is reason for great hope! We wish to pass on to all young people the spirit of Pope Benedict XVI who said: “Today, with great strength and great conviction, on the basis of long personal experience of life, I say to you, dear young people: Do not be afraid of Christ! He takes nothing away, and he gives you everything. When we give ourselves to him, we receive a hundredfold in return. Yes, open, open wide the doors to Christ – and you will find true life!”
